Feng Shui Prep

Before We Get Started…
we need the following:

  1. A Floor Plan of the Space

For our Feng Shui Class #1 students all you need is a hand-drawn sketch of your main floor only.  A hand-drawn sketch has your energy in the drawing. We will need to know where the stove, bed and desk is especially in these spaces.

In your drawing please illustrate where the fridge, dishwasher, sinks, doors with direction of swing and if there are any double doors for wide entrances, windows, ceiling fans, fireplaces, bathrooms, front door with width dimension ie. 36″ door, closets, stairs, skylights, patio door or sliding door and width of door, mirror placements ie. in bathrooms or hallways, etc. Please ensure it is clear where your front door is. Also indicate other doors you use to enter the home such as a mud room, backyard door or garage door that enters into the home.

Locations of all toilets, showers, tubs including interior hot tubs, aquariums, water fountains if any, sump pump openings in basement floors, water conditioners, water heaters, furnace, air exchangers, panel box or circuit box, bedrooms in the basement in relation to panel box.

In the Feng Shui Class #2 this will include a hand-drawn sketch of your living space or main floor, upstairs or second floor and basement floor plan. For the exterior we will need a sketch of your property lot and where your house is on this lot ie. middle or to one side. If you have a home-office it would be helpful to know where it is and where you are sitting in this space.

  2. Please include a brief description on what is on the property and where it is on the lot ie. storage sheds, large trees, garden, RV parking, hot tubs, pool, swampy areas, declines in backyard, shape of driveway, water sources such as submersible water pump, septic system container, any poison ivy patches, bee hives in trees, hornet nests you know of, bird houses, water fountains, ponds, sandboxes and games such as horse shoes or badminton nets, etc.

  3. A BIO or Story of What Has Been Going On.

This is a 2 page maximum journal of what is happening, what has happened and the situation that brought you to the point of wanting a Feng Shui. It is a snap shot of your recent life going back about 6-8 months to the present day for now.

Have you had any accidents, falling down and hurting yourself, being in a car incident, legal problems, neighborhood gossips, family disagreements, arguments, repetitive occurrences such as parking tickets, speeding tickets, lost promotions, money issues, countless surprises like over charging expenses you owe, bank issues, working too hard with no benefits.

What is the condition of your relationships? is it loving or has lost its spice? little or no intimacy? Many complaints from clients that seem minor but upsetting just the same. Are you having an issue in finding a mate or no opportunity to date.

How are your kids? Are they bringing home low grades despite your helping them with homework. How is the dental situation in the family?

The condition of everyone’s teeth. Have you stopped your favorite hobbies, sports, or pastime activities due to lack of interest over the past 6 months.

How is your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health? Are you going through any emotional disappointments, despair, feeling down, headaches in the morning, fear of getting into elevators for example, any physical pain that keeps coming up such as back pain, stomach troubles, foot issues, etc

  4. The Ritual of the RED Envelopes

The Sacred Knowledge to Discover and Teach.

It is said that if you place a gold coin ($1 Loonie) in each of the 18 Red Envelopes it will give permission to your teacher or master
to divulge deeper secrets and techniques within the Feng Shui art.

    • Red envelopes are used when offering various cures, Feng Shui information or advice.

    • Red envelopes should be received for classes taught and general assistance that is not usually found on the internet.

    • Giver of cures and information requests 18 Red Envelopes from the person receiving the “cures”.

    • Chinese Red Envelopes or generic Red Envelopes, can be bought or handmade out of construction or tissue paper can be used.

    • Red Envelopes must be new and never used before a cure is offered or re-used again afterwards.

    • Each Red Envelope is filled with token gifts of money ($1) in each envelope and, if applicable, with the fee for the consultation or class enclosed.

    • Follow the Red Envelope ritual when sharing cures with friends, family, clients, media or teaching classes – make no exceptions!! You only have permission to share your Feng Shui “cures” if you have been given the Red Envelopes.

    • Red Envelopes indicate the person’s readiness to receive information. It is not intended for idle or showmanship discussions. You are using Universal energies of a higher order to intend your life to be a certain way.

    • Red Envelopes also provide spiritual protection for the cure giver by dispelling any obscure fallout or misfortune from passing the cure on.

    • Mark on a calendar the date in which all changes will be made and it must be accomplished by that date.

    • If you are learning Feng Shui online allow enough time for your teacher/instructor to receive the Red Envelopes so permission can be extended to you to receive the teachings.

    • if you are attending the class or the consultant is arriving on that day you can have your Reds ready to offer on the day of the consultant or teaching.

    • Red envelopes are used when offering transcendental cures, Feng Shui information or advice.

  5. Bring an Item for the Alter

    (if you are attending class)

This is an item you usually have on you often such as a ring, necklace, bracelet, etc. A candle will represent your energy for that day and you will light it with an intention. This is the first lesson that your intention has power and purpose.

  6. Have your Floor Plans Ready

During the consultation or class we will be referring to your floor plan of your home often so notes can be written down as to what changes you can make to alter, correct or lighten an energy in a space that will benefit you.
